Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation/Thermal Tactile Stimulation

Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS) is a therapeutic program that restores muscle strength and reflexes within the pharynx for better swallowing. The pharyngeal muscles are stimulated through neural pathways. DPNS has been shown to have a large effect on swallow function, quickly improving reflexive cough and improving vocal quality.
