This minimally invasive technique uses laser therapy to treat abnormal superficial veins. During the procedure, a catheter is placed into the vein through a 1/4 inch incision and the diseased vein is closed using laser therapy. The procedure takes approximately an hour. Patients can typically return to normal activity following the procedure.
