Tamra L. Brennan MSN, PMHCNS, APRN-BC

Tamra Brennan is a certified Nurse Practitioner working in the Pain Management Center. Tamra graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA nursing program which she attended while working as a nursing assistant/secretary at both Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA and Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Salem, MA. She minored in psychology and graduated with honors as a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. 

Tamra began her nursing career by taking part in a comprehensive new graduate program at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center where she worked for five years in medical surgical/cardiology and medical intensive care unit settings. She continued working while attending graduate school at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA where she later graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing on the Adult/Gerontological Acute Care track specializing in Cardiovascular Medicine. 

Throughout her experiences Tamra has learned that pain is a common thread in every specialty, and she began her nurse practitioner career in outpatient chronic pain management with Dr. Henkle. Tamra enjoys the challenging and rewarding experience of working with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. She works diligently to include other complimentary alternative options such as physical therapy and exercise programs to promote overall health and wellness for all of her patients. She specializes in medication management, joint injections, and Botox injections.
