Sabine is a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse with more than 20 years of nursing experience in the areas of critical care, general nursing, dialysis, and hospice and palliative care.
She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Quality and Patient Safety from Southern New Hampshire University. She has special interests in decision making, ethics, population health and palliative care. Sabine works with patients and their families to understand what is most important to them.
Sabine has completed the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium Train-the-Trainer course, and is a Master Trainer for the Serious Illness Conversation Guide. She is currently working towards her PhD in Nursing at University of Massachusetts Amherst, with the goal to advance nursing science through research and education in the area of palliative care.
