Board certified in Endocrinology, Dr. Ariza completed his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition, as well as his residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Ariza achieved Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasonography from the American College of Endocrinology. His clinical interest is general endocrinology with particular focus on diabetes, thyroid disease, and thyroid cancer management.
Dr. Ariza was inspired to become a physician by his late mother who was a physician. “Her work and dedication with underserved communities in Colombia inspired me to undertake this career path. She taught me medicine as an honorable profession where one has the opportunity to serve, teach, and heal fellow human beings.”

Dr. Ariza serves as the 2019-2020 Chapter President for the New England Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
Outside of work, Dr. Ariza enjoys hiking, music, movies, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
