Dr. Borden is the Clinical Specialist for the Pharmacy Department at Lowell General Hospital. He is a board-certified critical care pharmacist, and is located at the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital’s Saints campus. Dr. Borden also serves as the Lowell General Hospital PGY-1 Residency Program Director.
He earned his doctorate of pharmacy from Northeastern University and completed a PGY-1 residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. After completion of his residency, he worked as Clinical Specialist in both the Surgical Intensive Care Unit as well as Transplant Medicine at Tufts Medical Center.
Dr. Borden is a member and committee chair of the Massachusetts Society of Health System Pharmacists Early Careerist Network. Dr. Borden presented and published on the topics of alcohol withdrawal and anticoagulation in heart failure patients. He previously served as the preceptor of record for Northeastern University APPE students at Tufts Medical Center, the primary preceptor for PGY-1 residents during their critical care rotation, and the seminar facilitator for both Northeastern University pharmacy students and Tufts University Medical School.
