Diane M. Regan MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CEN

In Diane Regan's role as Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Inpatient Services, she is responsible for oversight of nursing practice on the inpatient units and for action plans tied to key strategic priorities for the division. Ms. Regan has oversight for clinical leadership development and growth within inpatient services and alignment with key physician providers to drive outcomes. She is also responsible for budgetary efficiencies and implementation of strategic programs that improve the organization’s financial position and quality patient outcomes. 

Ms. Regan brings over twenty years of nursing and leadership experience to Lowell General. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Professional Practice and Magnet Program Director, successfully leading the organization to a third American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet^© designation in August 2020. Ms. Regan also served as the Director of Emergency Services at the main campus for several years, and possesses a strong background in both operational and clinical leadership. 

Outside of the hospital, Ms. Regan is a member of several healthcare organizations, including the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, Organization of Nurse Leaders, and the Emergency Nurses Association. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Salem State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Massachusetts.
