Debra Black-Pisick is the Clinical Coordinator for the Pharmacy Department at Lowell General Hospital. She provides clinical pharmacy coverage for the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital’s main campus. She also serves as the co-chair of the hospital’s Antibiotic Stewardship and secretary of the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee.
She earned her master of science in healthcare administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and her bachelor of science in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Prior to joining Lowell General Hospital, Ms. Black-Pisick served as Director of Pharmacy Services at Caritas Holy Family Hospital, and as the Pharmacy Medical Safety Officer for six hospitals in the Caritas System.
Ms. Black-Pisick is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Health System Pharmacists, and has held presentations on the topics of chemotherapy toxicity and medication safety. She also serves as the preceptor of record for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the University of Connecticut’s APPE students.
