Release of Information about Your Stay

Your privacy is important to us. Upon admission you may request that your name not be included in the hospital directory. By doing so, your name and room number will not be made available to visitors or callers. In addition, we will not deliver mail or flowers to your room and upon discharge your mail will not be forwarded to your home. If you wish to change your status, please notify your nurse.

If you allow your information to be included in the hospital directory, your family and friends can learn about your general condition by calling Patient Information at any time at (978) 937-6666 for the Lowell General main campus or (978) 458-1411 for the Lowell General Saints campus. We ask that each patient designate one family member to gather information from the nurses about the patient’s condition and then relay that information to other family and friends. This allows your nurses to focus on providing patient care.
