Massachusetts MOLST: "A way to make choices about your end-of-life medical care"

This 13-minute original video about Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (MOLST) was produced in Massachusetts in 2010. It features patients, family members, health professionals, clergy and others sharing their personal thoughts and stories about the value of MOLST for patients and for the people and health professionals who care for them.

MOLST is a health decision-making process for seriously ill patients that stipulate wishes for life-sustaining treatment based on the patient's current condition. This video was provided from the MOLST expansion team at Commonwealth Medicine, UMass Medical School. For information, training and resources, please visit
