Help Us Heal

Over the past few months, the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged our hospital like never before. We rose to that challenge, using our commitment to patients and the community as our guiding light. And throughout this crisis, our community has been there for us, contributing emotional and financial support to help our caregivers and support staff focus on caring for patients. Twin sisters tackle coronavirus as Lowell General nurses

There’s not much in life that Elizabeth and Katherine Conole haven’t gone through together. The 25-year-old fraternal twins, who share a house in Tyngsboro, have been side by side through high school, college and now their careers as nurses at Lowell General Hospital. And for the past few months, they’ve also been taking on a new challenge together — caring for COVID-19 patients on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. For families with a loved one admitted to the hospital, we know how hard it is to be apart as we maintain a no visitor policy to protect patients and staff. The goal of Pictures for Patients is to bring families a little closer to their loved one during such a stressful time.
