Fraternal twins Elizabeth and Katherine Conole were born at Lowell General Hospital, and for the past 25 years have done most everything together.
Today, they live in the same house together in Tyngsborough and work as nurses on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Lowell Sun recently featured their unique story in its June 3 edition.
“As physically and emotionally challenging as the last couple of weeks have been, I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else in this pandemic situation or with a different team,” Katherine Conole says in the story.
“I always knew how important nurses are, but it’s just been so eye-opening how valuable they are to the care team,” Elizabeth added.
