Patients with appointments in the afternoon have been notified and rescheduled.

Thanks to the newly installed Skylight Access® Interactive Patient System at Lowell General Hospital, new parents are learning tips for newborn care, hospitalized teens are accessing the Internet (with parental approval), and patients and their visitors are watching Movies On Demand.

"Lowell General Hospital is proud to offer this interactive patient entertainment and education system as a free service for all patients," says Chris Karski, General Manager of Hospitality and Support Services. "Many hospitals charge for similar services. We offer them free of charge as a way to make our patients more comfortable during their stay."
