For families with a loved one admitted to the hospital, we know how hard it is to be apart as we maintain a no visitor policy to protect patients and staff. The goal of Pictures for Patients is to bring families a little closer to their loved one during such a stressful time.
To get pictures to your patient, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org, and include the patient’s name and room number.
About the Program
Pictures for Patients is the brainchild of Jeanna Barbieri, a Lowell General Hospital Emergency Department registered nurse who recently sat with a patient in her final hours. The experience inspired her to do something, so she bought a small photo printer and started this incredible program.
A social media post about the program struck a chord and has been shared thousands of times, and now this innovative program is getting national attention. To learn more about Jeanna’s story watch and read a Boston 25 News story.
