Honoring the Nurses of Lowell General Hospital

2022 Nursing Excellence Awards

On Thursday, May 12, hospital leadership celebrated the accomplishments of our Patient Care Services team at the annual Nursing Excellence Awards held at Vesper Country Club in Tyngsboro, MA. The event, held during Nurses Week, honors those who exemplify the unwavering commitment to patient care that is a hallmark of the nursing profession. Honorees were nominated for the award by their peers.

“It is a true pleasure to work alongside such an amazing group of nurses every day. The past few years have been very challenging in the profession with the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Cece Lynch, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Lowell General Hospital. “These honorees are a testament to our hospital’s mission of Patients First in Everything We Do.’’
