Overview

The Substance Abuse Prevention Collaborative in Greater Lowell is looking for parents of tweens and teens to host a “Table Talk” event. Invite fellow parents to your home to discuss underage drinking and drug use in your community.

Led by a professional facilitator you will:
• Learn new information about underage drinking and other drugs 
• Share challenges and learn ideas for prevention
• Get practical tips to use at home and share with others

Led by the Tewksbury Police Department, the Substance Abuse Prevention Collaborative is part of a comprehensive approach to substance misuse and abuse prevention in Massachusetts. This committee focuses on increasing the capacity of communities working to prevent and reduce underage drinking and other drug use among youth and focuses on the communities of Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Billerica, Westford, Wilmington, and Tewksbury.
