Joint Replacement Education Class - Weekly (Virtual) Interactive and socially distant class over Zoom

Overview
Learn what to expect. Improve your recovery. And get ready to resume an active life again!
The virtual Joint Replacement Education Class is a FREE, one-hour presentation that will answer questions about preparing for, and recovering from, total joint replacement surgery. Topics include:
- preparation for surgery,
- what to expect during your hospital stay,
- discharge planning,
- and the day-to-day recovery process.
This presentation has been approved by your orthopedic surgeon.
This class meets every week on Mondays:
- On the first Monday of each month it meets at 4:00pm
- Every other week it meets at 11:00am
NOTE: There is NO class on Mondays that are holidays (President's Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, etc.)
Who Should Enroll?
Patients and their support person are encouraged to attend prior to their scheduled surgery.
Registration
Patients will be scheduled for class during their pre-screening appointment and be sent an email with a Zoom meeting ID# and password. Please remember to download the Zoom Meeting Application on your home computer, tablet or phone.
