The Auxiliary's winter-themed fundraising event raised more than $20,000
Mild winter weather made it a lovely evening to participate in the warmth and hospitality of the beautifully decorated Vesper Country Club on Sunday, February 10, 2019 as the Auxiliary held its annual fundraiser A Winter Affair.
Over 150 guests were treated to a delicious dinner and many inventive cocktail concoctions poured by the talented bartenders from Fishbones, Evviva Trattoria, 110 Grill, Tavern at Lenzi’s, Fuse Bistro and CodeX. Board member Alison Burns and her brother Ryan Burns serenaded the crowd.
The event also featured a wine pull, cornhole, raffles, and silent and live auctions. Several area florists donated beautiful arrangements that were raffled off at the end of the evening. Jody White, President and CEO of Circle Health and Lowell General Hospital, thanked the crowd for their support. Proceeds from the evening went to the Auxiliary’s pledge for the ICU
Special thanks to the Auxiliary and Philanthropy Department for their work organizing this event, and congratulations to Fishbones for winning the best cocktail competition.
