“Jessica’s dedication and commitment to all tasks and projects assigned to her is remarkable. She works on each of them with an exceptional level of accountability and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of the electronic medical record (EMR) is maintained and that all quality and regulatory measures are met, while designing workflows that ensure clinical adherence,” says the Nursing Informatics team of March’s Star Performer Jessica Lynch. “She excels at researching information, resulting in a design and implementation that consistently puts the safety of our patients and our clinical staff first.”

Jessica has worked as a Nursing Informatics Specialist for Lowell General Hospital for the past two years. Jessica says she chose to work in healthcare because of her desire to help others. “I love my job and I love being a nurse,” says Jessica.

“In her current role Jessica assists in building, implementing, and maintaining the EMR processes for the Emergency Department and Urgent Care and additionally is a significant resource in the management of Circle Health’s EMR workflows. Jessica always extends her expertise to other departments and helps with high impact hospital initiatives to ensure all metrics are met, workflows are designed and built to meet those metrics and staff are knowledgeable about using them,” says her nominators.

“The level of Jessica’s dedication to EMR documentation shows her commitment to not only the Circle Health Nursing Informatics team, but to all of the clinical areas, leadership teams and staff she helps support,” shares her team members.

“Jessica has proven to be a valued and dedicated member of our team. She is the consummate professional with a calm and kind demeanor,” says her coworkers. “She is approachable at all times and has exceptional follow through, always going above and beyond and always willing to lend a sympathetic ear. Jessica lives in Atkinson, NH with her husband, son, and cat Clover. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and likes to be outside as much as possible - hiking, biking and keeping up with her 5-year-old son.
