Amanda has worked at Lowell General Hospital for 16 years; most recently as the clinical leader of Surgical Day Care.
Amanda’s coworkers say that she is always finding new ways to improve patient care, not only to help out staff but to improve our patients’ experience in Surgical Day Care.
Regarding her most important/favorite memory, Amanda says “I have a lot of wonderful memories from my nursing career. I remember many patients’ faces and stories which all motivate me and remind me of why I became a nurse. From working in Critical Care areas to Surgical Day Care, the care I provide brings me great joy and pride as I know I am helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.”
