Diagnosis, treatment, and support for a variety of lung conditions
Our team of experienced pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, and 60 respiratory therapists are a vital part of the lifesaving response teams in the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit. They are on site to establish and maintain airways, and operate patient respiratory equipment.
All Respiratory therapy department staff members are required to have current BCLS (basic cardiac life support) certification and hold one or more credentials such as RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist), and NPS (Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist).
From newsletters to periodicals, there are a number of ways to stay up to date with Lowell General Hospital.
