The Respiratory Therapy Department was recently recognized by Lowell General Hospital for adopting best practices in their commitment to the prevention of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases in the community. Staff members actively participate on the Tobacco Treatment Task Force and provide tobacco cessation counseling both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
