Each entry was represented by a numbered golf ball that was sent up in a helicopter, which swooped down and dumped the balls onto the 18th green. The ball that was closest to the hole won. This year, a record-breaking 725 balls were sold, raising $10,000. The lucky winner of the $5,000 prize was Steve Normandin of Chelmsford. Steve is heavily involved in the community and with the hospital, including serving as Chair of Lowell General Hospital's TeamWalk for CancerCare for several years.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to help support the expansion and renovation of the Saints Campus Emergency Department, an area that is critical in the hospital’s commitment to caring for its patients. This new environment will benefit patients as well as our talented team of physicians, nurses, and caregivers in providing the setting they need to deliver Complete connected care.
