Patient Care Services at Lowell General Hospital

Message from our Vice President of Patient Care Services

Cecelia (CeCe) Lynch

I had the great honor to join Lowell General Hospital in February 2014, and I have been continually impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the hospital’s Patient Care Services team since my very first visit. In fact, this dedication to our mission to put patients first in everything we do and the staff’s eagerness to deliver on our promise to provide Complete connected care to our patients is what ultimately helped make my decision to join this great organization an easy one. Lowell General Hospital has truly built a culture of excellence that places great value in teamwork and care coordination, and it is a privilege to be a member of this team.

From the opening of the Lowell General Hospital Training Schools for Nurses in 1983 to being awarded Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2010, Lowell General has earned a strong and well-deserved reputation for exceptional nursing care. As a Magnet designated organization our nurses have been at the forefront of advances in patient care and our family-centered quality caring model. We have created a structure of shared governance councils and decision-making that empowers us to take pride in our contributions throughout the organization.

Lowell General has earned accolades at both the regional and national level as a best place to work, and our nurses continue to be among the most highly-trained and well-regarded in the region. Beyond patient care, we have been involved in interdisciplinary collaboration to improve protocols and embrace technology to transform the way we deliver care to our patients.

I am grateful to be part of such an exemplary team of professionals. Together, we are able to bring the very best to our patients and their families. I hope you too will become inspired and consider making a difference in your life and career, by joining us here at Lowell General Hospital.
