Palliative Care

The Palliative Care Department at Lowell General Hospital provides supportive care services to people facing life-threatening illnesses and/or complex medical situations. The word “palliate” means to soothe, to comfort, to alleviate or to lessen someone’s pain and suffering.

Our inpatient and outpatient services are offered to patients undergoing treatments for serious illness at our Main Campus and Saints Campus locations.
