Lowell General Hospital Recognizes Star Performers

July 21, 2014 - Lowell, MA – Lowell General Hospital recognizes employees who exemplify the vision, standards and culture of the hospital as part of its Star Performer of the Month program. Local employees recognized this year include:

Lynne Cole of North Chelmsford was named Lowell General Hospital’s Star Performer for April. Lynne was ordained in 2012 and became a full-time chaplain at the main campus at Lowell General Hospital that same year. Lynne is a caring individual who prides herself on assisting patients and fellow staff members. She is a wonderful listener and shares her knowledge to the best of her ability. She is a driven employee who is determined to go above and beyond for the betterment of Lowell General.

Cheryl Newey of Acton was recognized as May's Star Performer. Cheryl has been in the Interpreter Services Department at Lowell General Hospital since 2009. She possesses excellent skills as an American Sign Language interpreter and maintains a trusting environment for her patients and co-workers. Her outstanding attitude is one of many reasons why she is a greatly appreciated employee at Lowell General Hospital.

Helen Perron, MT of Townsend was named the June Star Performer. Helen has been a valuable staff member at Lowell General Hospital for 27 years. The past two years, she has been working in the Laboratory Services Department as a Laboratory Support Specialist. Helen consistently exceeds expectations of her staff and clients on a regular basis. Her impressive knowledge shown in the lab illustrates her drive for the work she does.
