Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis Addresses Lowell General Hospital’s Spring Business Leadership Forum

Change Management in Age of Terrorism Discussed

Lowell General Hospital's Clark Auditorium was filled to capacity for the spring Business Leadership Forum as guest speaker, Edward F. Davis, Police Commissioner for the City of Boston took the stage. Commissioner Davis spoke about public safety organizations and the ever-evolving threats of terrorism and crime in our local, national and global community. More than 100 attendees from public service, healthcare, finance, and not-for-profit businesses gathered for this season's forum.

2010 Spring Business Leadership ForumThe presentation provided unique insight as to how urban and suburban police leadership are responding to the changing landscape to insure protection of its citizens.

Davis, a 28-year veteran of the City of Lowell's Police Department and the Superintendent of Police for the last 12 years of his tenure, was appointed Commission of the Boston Police Department by Mayor Thomas Menino in 2006.

The Business Leadership Forum is a community leadership initiative of Lowell General Hospital. The Forum offers business leaders and owners in the Greater Lowell area the opportunity to come together to discuss healthcare issues that affect their employees, businesses and community.
