TeamWalk Donation Received from the NVTHS Girls' Basketball Team & Cheerleaders

Two Points for Local Cancer Care

NVTHS donationThe Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital was thrilled to be the recipient of recent fundraising efforts by the Nashoba Valley Technical High School's Girls' Basketball team and cheerleaders. The young women dedicated proceeds from their baked goods sale and collections to benefit those facing cancer here in the community with a donation to the hospital's annual TeamWalk for CancerCare.

In the past, the team has donated to other worthy causes, but the lady Vikings wanted to keep this year's contribution in the local area to have a real impact on their neighbors. Their donation of $460 will go a long way to helping make a difference in the lives of those who are facing cancer today. And just as many two-pointers add up to high-scoring games, any amount that comes into TeamWalk combines to provide much needed support and services to those who need it.

For more information about how you can make a difference, visit the TeamWalk site, or call 978-937-6434.
