Breastfeeding

Learn the art of breastfeeding. In our Breastfeeding class learn information on how to get started, the benefits of colostrum and skin-to-skin, as well as, the value of exclusivity. The class will discuss nutritional needs, positioning and latch, how to know your baby is getting enough, and will dispel common myths. The class will also explore choosing a breast pump, expressing and storing milk and tips for returning to work. This class is taught by certified lactation consultant. We recommend you attend this class in your seventh month of pregnancy, although you are welcome to join anytime. A support person is encouraged to attend.

The $40 fee includes the expectant mom and a support person.
