Big Brother & Sister Sibling Class

Big Brother/Big Sister Sibling Class provides children the opportunity to explore their feelings concerning the arrival of a new baby.

A story is followed by a group discussion, held with the children, parents and instructor. Children and parents will go on a tour of The Birthplace. In addition, children will learn how to hold and diaper an infant and parents will learn important information concerning "sibling rivalry" and what to expect from the older sibling upon the baby's arrival. Classes are designed for children between the ages of 3-8 years. The best time to attend the class is one month before delivery. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Children will need to bring a photo of themselves to use for a craft they will make during the class.

The fee is $20 per child and includes all other materials.
