Birthplace Tours

Once you see The Birthplace, you'll know there's no other place you'd want to have your baby.

Tours of The Birthplace will be held on the following dates:

*The first and third Thursdays of every month and the first Saturday of every month unless otherwise noted.

This is an approximately one-hour tour of the Lowell General Hospital Birthplace, located at our Main Campus on 295 Varnum Avenue in Lowell, MA. The tour requires a lot of walking and comfortable shoes are suggested. Wheelchairs are available, if you would like one, please let your educator know before the tour begins. We recommend that you dress in layers since the temperature on the units can fluctuate. We also suggest eating before you attend your tour.  For your convenience, there is a Dunkin' Donuts located in the Main Lobby of the hospital.
