You can do something about the number one disease affecting women -- heart disease. Knowing the risk factors and symptoms of heart disease can save your life. It can also help lead you on a path to heart health so that you can enjoy an active life.
Lowell General Hospital offers many forms of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education and support for women to stay heart healthy. We do that through:
- The newly opened Heart and Vascular Center, featuring the region's largest and most advanced center for cardiovascular procedures, including emergency services for cardiovascular care as well as diagnostics, the region's only EECP program, treatment, prevention, defibrillator support groups and rehabilitation programs.
- Heart rhythm meditation (Yoga of the Heart) and exercise programs and classes
- A team of 18 cardiologists to choose from
