The qualified Certified Orthopedic Technologists of the Orthopedic Department are prepared to serve your orthopedic needs. Whether a minor ankle sprain or a compound fracture, the trained staff are qualified in dealing with emergency, trauma and sports medicine.
The Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Department is available at two locations to serve you:
Main Hospital
Monday through Friday
7:00am-7:00pm
Saturday
8:00am-12:00pm (noon)
Emergency orthopedic care available 24 hours-a-day.
LGH Chelmsford
Monday through Friday
9:00am-3:00pm

Lowell General Hospital is proud to be affiliated with the area's leading orthopedic specialists and surgeons, specializing in bone, muscle, and joint surgery. We provide a complete range of orthopedic surgical services, including spine care, trauma, joint rehabilitation, ligament reconstruction, advanced methods of cartilage repair, as well as sprains, strains, fractures and other injuries.
