The Health Science Library is pleased to partner with MassCat , a shared library catalogue funded through Massachusetts state tax dollars administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
Through our participation in MassCat, we can offer our personnel and patients access to our own materials as well as Inter-Library Loan delivery from other participating MassCat members. The MassCat catalogue provides sophisticated searching at a significant cost savings to our hospital.
When you enter MassCat, be assured that you are logging into our catalogue though the web site looks vastly different from our library home pages. You will automatically search only our books and materials ("My Library") unless you choose otherwise.
Please note that we have two different collections. Most titles in MassCat are located in the Health Science Library . However, items marked PAT FAM RES CTR are located in the Patient Family Resource Center
