Star Performer, Louise Berube"She takes time to do the small things, and always makes patients feel as if they are the only one," is how co-workers describe Louise Berube of MP3, our August Star Performer of the Month.

Louise has been a CNA on MP3 for close to three years. In her role, she cares for patients and helps them with "daily living" activities, such as bathing and walking. She is known to be extremely professional and courteous, and "goes with the flow" to help wherever it is needed. She is prompt at answering call lights and takes care of whatever the patient needs.

Darryl Lundeen RN, BS, Clinical Manager MP3, says that Louise is a Star Performer for many reasons. "Her motto is, ‘There is always something that can be done'. She will always offer to help out in any way needed... like preparing a room for a new patient, even if they are not assigned to her," says Darryl.

Louise is known to take this same level of commitment to fellow co-workers, helping to train all the new aides on MP3 procedures. Fellow nurses are known to say, "When Louise is the aide for my patient, I never worry."

Louise lives in Lowell with her husband Anthony (with whom she just celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary in July), son Anthony Jr., and daughter Angelina. She is an avid baseball fan, and enjoys traveling to amusement parks and riding the big roller coasters.
