Tobacco Free

We Care About Every Breath You Take

Your health and the health of our community is always our primary concern. That is why Lowell General Hospital joins more than 500 hospitals – all leaders in the healthcare industry – in implementing a Tobacco Free campus as part of our commitment to providing the healthiest environment for our patients, staff and visitors.

This new policy applies to all persons on Lowell General Hospital owned and leased buildings and grounds (including Lowell General’s Chelmsford campus), in all parking lots and garages, and in all vehicles on these properties.

In consideration of our patients, staff and visitors, Lowell General Hospital makes nicotine replacement options available in our Gift Shop and offers “Freedom from Smoking,” a smoking cessation program, developed by the American Lung Association. For more information on smoking cessation or related resources, please visit the Health & Wellness Programs page on our website or call 877-LGH-WELL.

Thanking you for your support in maintaining our Tobacco Free campus, and in joining us to combat smoking, the number one avoidable cause of cancer in our community.
