Winfield S. Brown
Vice President of Administration
Winfield Brown serves as Vice President of Administration. He is responsible for the Strategic Planning, Research, Marketing, Public Relations, Development, Government Relations, Service Culture, Community Health & Wellness and Volunteer/Concierge programs. Prior to joining Lowell General, he served as Vice President of Planning, Marketing and Development at Northern Berkshire Healthcare. He began his healthcare career at Sisters of Charity Health System/St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, where he served as the Executive Director/Vice President of the Sisters of Charity's Foundation, and was responsible for directing fundraising, volunteer programmming and several mission-based community programs.
After earning his B.A. in Economics from Bates College, Brown received his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He also holds an M.S. in Business from Husson College in Bangor, Maine.
Brown is a Fellow in the the American College of Healthcare Executives and is currently the Regent representing Massachusetts to the College. He is a board member of the Health Care Management Association of Massachusetts and a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. He serves on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell and d'Youville Senior Care.
