Emergency Services
The Emergency Departments at Lowell General Hospital's Main Campus and Saints Campus have Emergency Medicine and Surgical specialists available around-the-clock to care for patients experiencing serious acute illness and traumatic injuries. Please note that effective December 19, 2012 the Main Campus Emergency Department and Trauma Center Entrance is now located to the left of the main lobby entrance (first floor of the Dahod Building).
If you have any of the following symptoms, dial 911, and seek medical attention immediately:
- Chest pain
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Severe burns
- Difficulty breathing
- Sudden slurred speech or an unsteady gait
For routine health matters and check-ups, patients should contact their primary care physician. Regular check-ups with a primary care physician are the best prescription for good health.
