David Dixon"David is kind and skilled at what he does, as well as committed to doing his job with pride and proficiency." This how co-workers describe January's Star Performer of the Month, David Dixon.

David has been working in the Fiscal Services Department at Lowell General Hospital for over three years. As the General Account Supervisor, he oversees accounts payable and the general ledger as well as being a key player in the implementation of the hospital's new accounts payable online system. He is known for taking time to explain the how-to and reasoning behind the hospital's accounting processes and sharing his talents and kindness with everyone he encounters at Lowell General.

"David is always patient and pleasant through every question, and every twist and turn," says Sally DeAngelis, Service Culture Manager. "The world of accounting, budgeting and payables is intimidating for many us, and David makes this world a lot easier to understand."

David lives in Pepperell with his husband Darryl, who also works at Lowell General, their Siberian Husky Nala and cat Kallie. In his spare time, he loves running and has recently joined the Gate City Striders Nashua Running Club. David has run 65 marathons in 28 different states, usually finishing in the top 2%. He loves running as it gives him a way to stay healthy, travel and see the country. His goal is to complete a marathon in all 50 states.
