2013 Cupola Award Winners

We are honored to recognize the following dedicated Lowell General leaders as the 2013 Cupola Award winners. We would also like to thank them for their dedication to their staff, their profession and to Lowell General.

Indy Robles, RN, Clinical Manager, Medical Day Care Center

“This is a woman, who each and every day, gets out of bed with the intent to treat everyone she meets as a member of her own family. Every person is treated with love, respect, compassion and dignity. Under Indy’s guidance and direction, we have all become a family of people who care for and about each other. Her dedication and commitment to make sure our patients have the best experience and the best care is an inspiration to all of us. Not only does she have a smile and laugh that stands out from the rest, what her staff values most is her open communication and collaboration with them as a team.”

Jody Richardson, Supervisor, Support Services

“Jody has done such an amazing job organizing our department to create a much better work flow. She also has increased staff to ensure patient safety. We truly have an amazing team because of Jody. This positive attitude affects our patients who feel at ease when they see her friendly warm smile. Jody always takes the time to listen to us. She is our cheerleader and is such a positive role model for the lab. Lowell General is lucky to have her.”

Helen Wilder, Supervisor, Central Transport

“Helen truly lives our mission of “Patients First in Everything We Do” through her daily actions and work habits. She understands the Transport Department’s role in our promise of delivering Complete connected care to our patients, visitors and coworkers. Providing the best care to our patients motivates Helen, and in turn she inspires us to put our best foot forward every day. She communicates well with her manager to assure we have the tools and people to do our job. She lets us know when we do a good job and will take time during meetings to read announcements and our Spotlights and Kudos. We see through Helen’s daily actions that she is very committed to Lowell General Hospital, her patients and her team.”

Ann Wright, RN, Clinical Manager, Special Care Nursery/Pediatrics

“Many people say their door is always open if you want to talk to them, Ann lives by this and is a true testament to this! She has an “Eeyore chair” in her office which is used for anybody who needs an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, encouraging words, or anything else. She emulates Joanne Duffy’s Quality Caring Model. She cares about your family life, your work life, and your home life. She understands that we are wives and mothers; we have lives beyond the walls of this building. Ann exemplifies Complete connected care and threads it into updates, meetings, and throughout her interactions with staff. Ann brings out the best in our team by fostering a positive outlook and optimism that is seen in everything she does.”
