Michael McAuliffe “A collaborative teammate who is truly the ‘go-to guy’ for everything!” This is just one sentiment co-workers use to describe Mike McAuliffe, our January Star Performer of the Month.

Mike began his career at Lowell General Hospital in 2010. As Revenue Cycle Administrative Assistant, he supports the day- to-day operations of the revenue cycle – generating financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, managing the TRACE application, and providing administrative support to the Clinical Research Review Committee (CRRC/IRB) and the Corporate Compliance Committee. He is known for his positive attitude, commitment to co-workers, and knack for seeking solutions.

“We can always count on Mike to help with any software issues,” says Mary Chamberlain, Patient Accounts Supervisor. “When he assists with any task he takes ownership and works it to completion. He promotes a great team environment always with the ability to see the good in people and bring out their best.”

Bill Wyman, Director of Revenue Cycle, speaks to Mike’s collaboration and team spirit. “Mike coordinates many of the activities at Lowell General in Tyngsboro as our onsite liaison with hospital activities. For example, Mike coordinated the on-site “virtual” Sun Santa fundraiser this year by selling tickets, setting up the containers to collect the tickets, and coordinating the Skype event for us to participate in the raffle. Mike has a great deal of potential that we continue to leverage to improve the services that we provide. He has a great professional demeanor and utilizes humor in a way that builds the Lowell General Tyngsboro team.”

“Not only is he dependable, but Mike always thinks about the “big picture”, says Sandra Clay Hillyard, Manger of Pre-services in Patient Access. “He never misses deadlines and meets and or exceeds the expectations of his workgroup. These traits are just typical everyday Mike.”

Mike is from Billerica, and in his spare time he enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Bruins, and spending time with his friends and family.
