Marissa Noel"A true team player, always ready with a 'thank you' for the smallest of deeds," is how co-workers describe the our December's Star Performer of the Month, Marissa Noel.

Marissa began working at Lowell General Hospital five years ago on MS2 at our main campus. In her role as a registered nurse during the third shift, she takes great pride in caring for her patients' medical needs as well as providing emotional support whenever needed. She is known for her attentiveness and is always the first to respond the minute a call light is activated.

"She is always there when you need her, no matter how busy she is," says Louise Santos, Nursing Assistant on MS2, of Marissa's work ethic and collaborative mindset. Her co-workers also praise her ability to stay calm in any situation and note that she is willing to help develop and try new procedures in order to help the floor run as smoothly as possible.

"Marissa is a spirited patient advocate and a supportive leader and team player," says Patty Gallagher, RN, Clinical Manager of MS2. "She exemplifies our hospital mission of 'Patients First in Everything We Do' in her dedication to providing quality care to our patients and community."

Marissa lives in Pelham, NH with her husband Armand and their three children, AJ, Alex and Ava. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Their favorite activity is taking weekend family trips up north when their schedules allow.
