Jessica Spurrell"Jessica follows the patient from the moment they appear, until they leave – always knowing where they are and what needs to be done for them." This is how co-workers describe the Patients First attitude of Jessica Spurrell, our August Star Performer of the Month.

Jessica works as Patient Service Registrar at our Lowell General Chelmsford campus. In her role, she runs the front desk and essentially the entire flow of the PSC. She wears many hats - you'll often see Jessica at her desk with a whirlwind around her as she gives directions to lost patients, calls patients up for registrations, answers the constant stream of phone calls, and fields questions from co-workers. She takes pride in knowing many of the patients by name, and maintaining the center's reputation of getting patients in and out quickly with minimal wait time. Because of Jessica's tireless work in ensuring everything is in place, Jessica makes our patients, and our staff, happier.

"I marvel at her juggling act! She is a dream employee and has set a very high benchmark as to what an ideal LGH employee should be," says PSC Supervisor Nan Caiazzo, CHCC. "She understands that the PSC is very concerned with "customer service" and she lives up to that ideal every day."

Jessica lives in Dunstable with her boyfriend John and their dog Rory. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting with friends and family, camping, and going to concerts.
