Chang began his career here at LGH over a year ago with the opening of our new Employee Pharmacy. The establishment of the Employee Pharmacy has been a tremendous benefit for staff, saving many employees and their families hundreds of dollars per year on prescription needs. Staff can visit the website, set up an ID, order prescriptions for themselves and eligible family members, and pick them up. It's a great convenience and service that's not offered at many community hospitals.

"He's always ready to help staff with the highest quality of pharmaceutical care at the most economical price," says Robert Ritchie, RPh, MBA, Director of Pharmacy Services. "I have heard nothing but glowing reviews from staff who praise his knowledge and efficiency."

Chang is known to give 100% of himself to each employee he works with. He takes pride in his work, makes sure all of your needs are met, and represents the best image of what a Star Performer should be. One staff member testified to Chang's putting "his patients first in everything he does. "One day I came down with a really bad migraine and needed to call my physician for a refill. Chang showed genuine concern, and offered to help in any way if I didn't have enough to hold me over until the script was called in. I was all set, but it was so nice that he really cared."

Chang lives in Methuen and in his spare time he enjoys soccer, dodge ball, running, the Red Sox, and horror movies.
